Sorry I been so quiet. I've been having a lot of trouble with peripheral neuropathy - which is basically code for - we don't know why the fuck your body part hurts, your nerves are nuts - but it reaaaaaaally hurts. So it's put me in a slump. I do not approve. I have stuff to write, damn it.

My comments: I first read this some years ago and it rang a lot of bells for me in terms of what it's like to live with chronic illness - especially if that illness is mostly or completely invisible to strangers - or even close friends.
